Not great quality, but an interesting view of Essendon looking north-west before all the big development of recent years commenced: no DFO, no office blocks, no car yards! Pretty much as it was, in fact, after the airlines moved up to Tullamarine in 1971. Incidentally, you can just make out Melbourne/Tullamarine in the distance at top right.
