Originally 42-100882, this C-47 was acquired first by the Royal Air Force and on to the Royal Canadian Air Force by July 1946. Sold as surplus in 1966 as CF-KAZ, Pacific Coastal Airlines flew it from July 1978 until May 1980 when the airline itself was bought by local British Columbia carrier Air West. The aircraft is with Dakota Heritage as N473DC and based in the UK with wartime markings at the time of uploading.
