This C-47 is a relatively new addition to the CWHM after ending its time with Environment Canada. It was built for the USAAF but went instead to the RAF in Feb. 1944 as FZ692 and then on to the Canadian's 437 Squadron in Sept. 1944. Subsequently given the serial 12945 as part of the RCAF where it served with 424 Squadron at CFB Trenton. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
