Was one of the first of type in Europe when it flew for Lufthansa in 1964 as D-ABIH. Here it is departing on (probably) the last flight of its life to the small airport at Port Alberni in the Vancouver Island interior. Routing was along the east coast of the island at 4000 feet (IFR) then VFR through the mountain pass to destination. Must have been exciting for the crew, but a sad occasion non-the-less.
