The Italian and Pilatus stands at the Paris Air Show with a Piaggio P.136, a model of a four-engined airliner and the Pilatus P-4, HB-AET. The G.59 first prototype was at this stage designated G.59-1B. At a later stage, the engine was changed with short exhausts, and with other modifications it was designated G.59-2B.
