Seen at its Heathrow base and awaiting the commencement of services having been delivered new a few days earlier, this was the only aircraft to carry British Mediterranean's own colours. Beirut, Damascus and Amman were the first destinations, and in 1997 the airline became a British Airways franchise, flying 17 routes across the Middle East and Central Asia using six A320s in standard BA livery. Referred to as BMED from 2004, in 2007 it was sold to BMI. G-MEDA became VT-EYL with Indian Airlines 2006 (moving to Air India in 2007), YA-KMA with Kam Air in 2011 and EP-APG with Iran Aseman in 2015
