FMS serial 54-1554, preserved inside the base

Acc to a sign in front of the a/c (Google translate): This aircraft is an experimental airplane that was succesfully tested and flown after a 3-year design, development and manufacturing process from October 1996 to November 1998 by students of the Aircraft Manufacturing Research Group (the titels on the fuselage), an academic club at Hankook University of Korea. The X-4 fuselage is made entirely of aluminum except for some composite materials, and it has a semi-monocoque structure. It's wingspan is 6.45 m, length 4,8 m, heigth 1,8 m, its max t/o weight is 235 kg, cruising speed was 160 kph

The markings on the tail are the logo of the Hoseo Occupational Training College. The Tiger II was delivered with FMS serial 75-0504. It was first seen at the college in late 2021.

This old Freedom Fighter, FMS serial 63-8408, was delivered to South Vietnam on 18 February 1965, it was moved to south Korea in late 1972. It is here seen preserved inside the base at Suwon.

Former USAF 52-5096 and delivered to South Korea on 27 July 1961. Now preserved at Suwon, inside the base.

This is really serial 16245. The F-86K is former USAF 51-6245. It is seen here preserved insside the base at Suwon.

Assigned to one of the three fighter squadronas of 11 FW, based at Daegu (K-2).'The SlamEagle participated in the static display during the farewell of the F-4E Phantom ceremony. After the ceremony, the F-15K was towed to a parking spot at the far end of the platform and departed later for its homebase.

Former USAF 36th TFW ('BT') 64-0958 and delivered to the Republic of South Korea Air Force on 17 November 1969.

The Phantom was delivered to the Republic of South Korea Air Force (RoKAF) on 1 April 1988 as former USAF 456th Tactical Fighter Squadron (tailcode 'SH'). It became 66-753 but was reserialled to 67-753. It is preserved at the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) park at least since 2013.

ex USAF 68-0330, this Spook was delivered to the RoKAF on 1 September 1989 as a former Osan USAF/51st Fighter Wing aircraft. It is now preserved inside Suwon.

With "Defence Star Hunter Plane" markings on its nose, this immaculate looking F-4D was shining at the static display during the Phantom farewell ceremony at Suwon. The F-4D was former USAF 65-0732. It was first loaned to the RoKAF in 1972, but transferred to that air force in 1975. The RoKAF F-4Ds were retired in 2010.

Former USAF 67-0457/BA of the 62nd TRTS/67th TRW was selected for transfer to AMARC but never arrived there, in stead of a dusty storage, it was granted a second operational life with the RoKAF. It was flown over to the Asian county on 15 January 1990, and retired from service by 2014. It is seen here in a splendid condition at the static display during the F-4E Phantom farewell ceremony at Suwon.

Retired from service in June 2024. This F-4E is a McDonnell Douglas built airframe which was delivered in the Peace Pheasant I Foreign Military Sales program. It was first flown on 11 November 1977, carried FMS serial 76-0508, and was delivered to the RoKAF on 11 December 1977 as 60-508. The Phantom is furnished with special markings and titels on the fuselage: "From the hands of the People, to the hearts of the People, 1969-2024".

Assigned to the Daehan Minguk Haegun (ROK Navy) with the 623 Helicopter Squadron at Pohang. The nice looking UH-60P was most probably delivered to the ROK Navy in early 2003.

A Chinese Shenyang licence built MiG-19S, designated as F-6C, preserved inside the base at at Suwon

Two Daehanminguk Yuk-gun (ROK Army) Black Hawks were transporting four star generals to the Phantom farewell ceremony at Suwon. Both helicopters were correctly as it should equipped with red four star signs.
