This unmarked Turbolet, not the best picture but 9Qs are interesting, was seen during its take-off from Goma. It's not clear to what company the aircraft belonged at that time, but most probably it was registered with Safe Air Company. CUB was last noted at Bukavu-Kavumu in May 2010, when it was parked in the grass after an accident (dented nose).

Since October 2004, Trans Air Congo was operator of this unmarked L-410UVP. The Turbolet was written of on 17 May 2007 on a flight from Walikale (North Kivu province) to Goma. The aircraft was loaded with cassiterite when it crashed into a forest almost directly after take-off from the road airstrip at Kilambo. It is reported that it encountered problems with the left engine, subsequently it caught fire and burnt out, both pilots and the sole passenger were unfortunately killed.

Air Serv International (note small titles on rear fuselage) is a nonprofit humanitarian organization flying relief workers and supplies in remote areas in the world. This 1978 Twin Otter served the United Nations in the Democratic Republic Congo (DRC) during 2007. Two years earlier, it was damaged during a bad landing at Akon, Sudan on 14 November 2005. Luckily, the robust aircraft was repaired and it continued its service over the African continent. Unfortunately, it did not survived a second crash, this time on 31 August 2007 when it fataly crashed near Punia (DRC).

Cetraca Aviation Service was formed in 2003 and based in Beni, Congo. One of their L410s is seen here during its landing at Goma International Airport in eastern Democratic Republic Congo. This Turbolet sustained substantial damage in a runway excursion accident at Butembo Airport (DRC) when operating out of Goma. Fifteen passengers and three crew members survived the accident. The L410 was substantially damaged, and was not seen flying after 30 October 2012 when the incident happened.

This 1966 An-12B flew with many different companies, but it started its career with the Soviet Air Force. It was commercially sold to AFL/Privolzhsk in the late 1990s, and then companies as Aeroflot, Avial, Southern AirGroupe, Eurasia Airlines, Pochta Rossii and Aeriantur-M (as shown on this picture) followed. In October 2007, the An-12 suffered a ground incident at Kisangani (DRC) damaging an engine and the starboard main undercarriage. The owners rebuilt the aircraft but it unfortunately crashed with Aerolift as S9-SVN at Luxer (Egypt) on 20 February 2009. Thanks Soviet Transports database!
