Brooklyn (B'klyn) Air Transport was described as a flying boat manufacturer. This might well relate to this flying fish as Walden-Markey Inc were located nearby. Aerofiles note that Walden may be Henry Walden, who had built his first aircraft in 1909 and started Walden Aircraft Co in Long Island City in 1929.
