Built as a Jetstar 8 in 1967 and registered as N238U. To N288U in 1969, CF-GWI in 1971, N8SC in 1973 and N1329K in 1976. Converted to Jetstar 731 conversion number 9 in 1976. To YV-03CP in 1988. Withdrawn from use at Maracaibo by 2010.

Twelve F-4D from DC ANG deployed to Finningley from their base at Andrews AFB, DC on June 3rd 1983 under 'Coronet Shield'. The deployment ended on June 17th 1983.

Ex Alitalia I-DABS. It flew out of Venice and impounded at Thessaloniki (Greece) the same month. It was still there by 2019.

VH-SJL had passed through the Brunei, Malayasian and Hong Kong registers before being registered in Australia in 1968

VH-BYU was registered in June 1955.

In the early 1970s Lockheed's L-300 demonstrator was converted into NASA's Kuiper Airborne Observatory, and fitted with a 36-inch infrared telescope between the cockpit and wing. A cover retracted when in use. It was able to get above most of the atmospheric water vapour that affected terrestrial optical telescopes. Ex Lockheed demonstrator N4141A, N714NA retired in 1995 and has been preserved at Moffett Field. It was replaced by a Boeing 747SP.
