The pilot of VH-HAU was trying to get a better look at a saltwater crocodile on mudflats at Dundee Beach, Northern Territory, on June 21, 2009 when he crashed. He dragged his injured passenger away from the wreck, the tide and the crocodile. They were rescued later that night.
