This L-17 was delivered to the USAF in Feb. 1949. Over the next years it served with various Commands, Groups and ROTC detachments but by 1970 had been sold for scrap. Fortunately the remains were rediscovered in 1993 and underwent a five-year restoration to airworthy standard. It is now privately owned but on display at the MAPS Air Museum. Note, N91173 was originally associated with a different Navion that crashed at Toledo OH.

This incredible, airworthy replica is the result of a 20 year scratch build using original Sopwith plans and is now on display at the MAPS Air Museum.

This OH-58A was built in 1969 and served with the US Army in the Gulf War. It last served with the 107th Air Cavalry of the OH ANG stationed at CAK and was donated in 1996 to the MAPS Air Museum.

This tailess Viper was retired to AMARG during April 1994 and stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AAFG0142. It served latterly with the 89th FS (USAFR) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH and carries 'City of Cleveland' titles on its port side. The frame is currently undergoing restoration at the MAPS Air Museum.

This T-28 was originally constructed as T-28A 51-3565 for the USAF. It was rescued from MASDC by L'Armee de l Air and converted to T-28S for use in Algeria. After that conflict it went to the RMoAF as CN-AEN and then to Honduras (as FAH?) as HR232A before acquisition and transport to the US. It has been wonderfully restored by the MAPS Air Museum in this USN training scheme.

This beautiful, newly restored Sabre Dog is on display at the super MAPS Air Museum.

This aircraft was built as AT-7 43-33316 (cn 5479) and delivered to the USAAF Navigation Training School at San Marcos, TX during Oct. 1943. It was transferred to the USN in Dec. 1945 and designated as an SNB-2 with the BuNo. 67103. In 1951 it was converted to SNB-5 (D18S standard) under conversion number N790. This wonderful old aeroplane came to MAPS in 1990.

This T-33 is in reality 53-5250 and was built at Burbank. It was accepted into the USAF in Sept. 1954, serving with various Units at Selfridge AFB, MI and then latterly at Maxwell AFB, AL & Gen. Billy Mitchell Field, MI before being demilitarised and dropped from the inventory. In Nov. 1963 it went to the EAA Air Venture Museum at Oshkosh before arriving at MAPS in Oct. 2011.

This reconn Panther was accepted by the USN in June 1957 and went on to serve primarily with VP-62 at NAS Jacksonville and included deployments aboard USS Randolph. It was SOC in May 1962, passing through a couple of museums before arriving at MAPS in October 2012.

The F-4S was an upgraded F-4J, in order to allow them to remain service until they could be replaced by the F-18 Hornet (US Marines) and the F-14 Tomcat (US Navy). This exanple is on display at the super friendly MAPS Air Museum.

This Thud served with the 4th TFW, 23rd TFW, 177th TFG & the 466th TFS before retirement and incorporation into the NMUSAF Loan Program. From 1988 onwards it passed through various museums and is now undergoing restoration at the MAPS Air Museum.

This L-29 was built in 1969 and is now on display at the MAPS Air Museum.

This T-37 was built at Wichita and delivered to the USAF during April 1956. It served at Bainbridge AFB, GA and Williams AFB, AZ before being SOC in April 1968. It was assigned to the NMUSAF Loan Program going at first to the Florida Military Aviation Museum and now at the super MAPS Air Museum.

This F-11 was previously on display at the USS Intrepid museum in New York but is now part of the super MAPS Air Museum at CAK.
