With bombing number "246", landing back at Dryden, Ontario while on active duty on an out-of-area deployment, quite a way from home in Quebec.

Delivered to the Province of Ontario, Ministry of Natural Resources March 26, 1981, this Twin Otter is still current with the Ministry at the time of uploading.

This 1975 Shrike Commander came to Canada in 1999 for Hicks & Lawrence Limited. Renamed Discovery Air Fire Services in 2011, the parent company Discovery Air sold the fire service division to MAG Aerospace in 2017. Part of an unsuccessful attempt to stave off bankruptcy due to high debt load, Discovery Air went bankrupt in 2018. The aircraft is current with MAG Aerospace at the time of uploading.

The Province of Alberta Government Services flew this Skymaster when it came to Canada in 1978. Sold in 1985, the aircraft was registered to several numbered companies until bought by Hicks & Lawrence Ltd in 1994. Several Skymasters operated fire detection patrols for the Province of Ontario when Hicks & Lawrence were bought by Discovery Air in 2004 (and re-named Discovery Air Fire Services in 2011). After running into financial distress, US based MAG Aerospace bough the fire service in 2017. C-GFSC is registered to Mag Aerospace Canada at the time of uploading.

Delivered to the Province of Ontario, Department of Lands and Forests as CF-OER on July 28, 1967. The registration changed format to C-FOER circa 1975 as Canada added the C-G*** registrations. Still current at the time of uploading, the Province changed the name of the department to Ministry of Natural Resources in 1972.

This Grand Caravan was first with Calm Air 2005 - 11. Hicks & Lawrence Ltd, later renamed Discovery Air Fire Services by parent company Discovery Air, flew the aircraft 2011 - 2015. Whitehorse, YT based Tintina Air bought it in 2015, cancelling the registration on March 3, 2021.

Built in 1969 and imported for Pem-Air in 1978 (See Photo ID: 205802). Operated with Bearskin from 1981 and exported as V2-DOM in October 2007.

The second CL-415 added to the Province of Ontario's fire fighting fleet in 1998 as they replaced their earlier CL-215s. Has the logo of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources on the fuselage.

Originally built for the RCAF in 1941 as 9750 and previously flew with Ilford-Riverton Airways in Winnipeg as "The Fisherman's Special". Here in service as a water bomber with Awood Air of Victoria/BC and it went to Spain in 1993 as EC-FRG, then to the US in 1996. Current as N206M in 2021. (Photo ID: 17336).

Built in 1985 and here in service with a branch of Transport Canada that was created to generate sales of the CL-215 in a slow market. Later they were transferred to individual Provinces. This one was exported as N263NR in March 2001 then re-imported as C-GFBF in August 2016. Converted to CL-415EAF by Viking Air and exported as N417BT for Bridger Air Tanker in August 2020.

Made in 1947 and imported in 1964. Exported back to the US in 1993 and current as N27RD in 2021.

Built in 1987 and exported as I-SRMD August 2004.

Exported as I-SRME February 2005. Crashed and wrecked while scooping water at Lake Durusu, near Istanbul 4 October 2007.

Bought by Hicks and Lawrence Ltd in 2003, this Skymaster was finally registered to their Discovery Air Fire Services subsidiary in May 2012. Apparently now used for parts, as the registration was canceled in December 2012. Registration C-GWDU has since been used by Bell Helicopters for a new Bell 407 before delivery to the new owner.
