On 16 September 2018, the plane crashed upon approach to Agua Salada airport. According to the investigation, the pilot had tried to make a turn at low altitude and touched the ground with the end of a wing, which has caused the aircraft to lose lift and stall. Although the pilot braked, he was unable to stop the aircraft. It overshot and ended up on an embankment adjacent to the strip, impacting the ground at the bottom of the slope, where it came to rest.
