Turning short final in true fighter pilot style this Neptune is seen returning from one of its many flights this day to fight the deadly Esparanza fire.

This engineless Ajeton Classic has been stored at SBD for the past couple of years after a spell in the Middle East. In a former life this was the last 737-200 to be retired from the Southwest Airlines fleet.

This 727 was delivered to American during August 1977 and operated its last revenue flight for the airline on 1st March 2002. Some sources report that this frame was stored and broken up at Mohave but this doesn't appear to be the case.
