Seen during an overshoot at Gilze Rijen, a nice 5F of Base Aérienne 102 Dijon-Longvic. The SPA97 squadron moved to BA113 and now operates Rafale Bs under command of EC01.004 "Gascogne". The AdlA still operates some thirty 5Fs in the early 2020s. The 5F was the first major upgrade over the standard 2000C: a cockpit with large multi-function displays, upgrades to the armament for the use of a targeting pod and modern guided air to ground and air to air weapons. The latter goes in combination with a radar upgrade that provides guidance for MICA missiles.
