Departing in a cloud of dust. On January 25th 2020 this helicopter crashed into the Pacific off Okinawa whilst operating from USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19), fortunately the crew was able to escape before it sank. On 18th March 2021 Naval Systems Command's (NAVSEA) Supervisor of Salvage and Diving (SUPSALV) succeeded in recovering the Seahawk (sic) at a depth of 19,075 feet. (With thanks to the late Joe Baugher's US Navy and US Marine Corps BuNos web site.).
