In the storage area at MASDC. VF-111 "Sundowners" last assigned to the USS Roosevelt. By October 1978 this squadron had just fully transitioned to the F-14A Tomcat. The squadron was disestablished on 31 March 1995. Also in the picture is 151510 / NM-204 c/n 700 which arrived in storage on 29 Sep 1977. 153012 was delivered @1967 as a F-4B. Later upgraded to a F-4N. To MASDC also on 29 Sep 1977 with inventory code 8F061. Later to Hayes Industries and put back into service (see photo 630414). Back to MASDC on 25 Jan 1984 with inventory code 8F-150. Departed 20 Sep 2004 to HVF West for scrapping

Fighter Squadron (VF) 194 "Red Lightnings" was a short-lived Tomcat unit. It was re-established on 1 Dec'86 and disestablished on 30 Apr'88. VF-194 was planned together with VF-191 for a cruise on the USS Independence as part of CVW-10, but before the cruise could take place the squadron and wing ceased to exist. The squadron lineage runs back to 1952 as it was originally established as VF-91 on 26 Mar'52, redesignated VF-194 on 1 Aug'63 and disestablished on 1 Mar'78. This 161297 was delivered to the USN on 2 Mar'82, retired to AMARC on 13 Sep'04 and left for HVF West for scrap on 22 Jul'09.
