XP345 was originally delivered to the RAF as a training aircraft but was substantially damaged during a landing accident in Snowdonia. After repair it served on SAR duties, including a posting to support the UN at Akrotiri in Cyprus, and is credited with having made the last ever flight by a RAF Whirlwind.

On the night of 11th Feb. 1941, 79 Wellingtons. Whitleys and Hampdens set off to bomb Bremen and, of these, only 27 claimed to have reached the target. On the return 22 aircraft were lost when thick fog blanketed their home bases making navigation very difficult. Whitley V P5013 from 51 Sqn. at Dishforth got lost and the crew parachuted to safety, with the aircraft finally coming down near Hatfield, East of Doncaster. This Merlin X Single Stage engine was recovered at the crash site from 18ft of clay in 1987 and is now on display at the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum/Aeroventure.

This frame is the first single seat production aircraft and was used by DETO Boscombe Down as a test bed from November 1972 until July 1999. It was transferred to BAe Systems as an Adour engine development aircraft. XX108 never actually entered RAF squadron service and is now on display in AirSpace at IWM Duxford.

This SIGINT Nimrod ditched into the Moray Firth after an engine fire on the 15th May 1995 but, fortunately, all the crew survived. Parts of the wreckage were salvaged and the cockpit section is now on display at the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum/Aeroventure.

This Mossie was built towards the end of 1945 as a B.Mk.35, probably by Percival, but later converted by Brooklands to TT.35 configuration with a target-towing winch in the bomb-bay, and guards on the tail surfaces and tailwheel. In 1963 it was registered G-ASKC, repainted as HJ898 (coded HT-G) for use in the film "633 Squadron", which was mostly shot in Scotland, with the aircraft operating from Dalcross. It now hangs from the roof in AirSpace at IWM Duxford.
