This F-16B was delivered to the USAF in '83 and delivered to Shaw AFB 363rd TFW. It then served Homestaed AFB with the 309th TFS before it was transferred to the 194th Fighter Interceptor Squadron in May'89. From Mar'92, the unit lost its interceptor designation. Early '92, the dual was transferred to the 159th FS of the Florida ANG and in late '95 to the 111th FS of the Texas ANG. On 18 Oct'95 it was stored at AMARG with inventory code FG0336. It was transferred to Ogden ALC and modified for a sale to Jordan (as 235) in December 1997. It was then sold to Pakistan on 27 April 2014 as 14627.

The Air National Guard used these colours for quite a while on their Phantoms.

The 194th Fighter Interceptor Squadron operated the F-4D during the eightees. As several F-4D squadrons of the Air National Guard were replacing their F-4Ds by F-15s or F-16s, the best remaining aircraft were dispersed over the unites still operating the F-4D. That resulted in multiple coloured Phantoms at Fresno Air National Guard Base, the basic grey, this European I (or Lizard) and Egypt One. Back in 1987, the Phantoms at Fresno operated from an open flight line, no sunshelters, like these days protecting the F-15C/D Eagles of the squadron.

The 194th Fighter Interceptor Squadron of the California Air National Guard used the mighty F-4D Phantom II. This is of course the classic picture that most photographers want to click, when visiting an Air National Guard Base
