"Himalayan Eagles". The type was vital in moving personnel, ammunition, supplies and livestock between Chandigarh and J&K, providing an air bridge to the roof of the world. CA7101 is the first CASA C.295MW to be delivered to the Indian Air Force, seen landing RW13 at Luqa from Seville on the first leg of its long delivery flight to India. The first 16 C.295s of the 56 aircraft on order will be assembled at the San Pablo Sur site in Seville, Spain, with the second aircraft due to be delivered in May 2024 and the next 14 rolled out at a rate of one per month until August 2025.

HF-24 Marut is an Indian fighter-bomber aircraft, first Indian-developed jet aircraft, first Asian supersonic aircraft and first Asian jet fighter (outside Soviet Union) used in active service. The prototype was flown in 1961, and from 1967 the first serial aircraft entered service with HAL. The leading designer of the Marut was Kurt Tank, the constructor of the Focke-Wulf 190. Total 147 HF-24 were built and this airframe is probably the only one on display outside of India.

The Flogger was inducted in No. 10 Sqn. "Winged Daggers", which operated the same from Jan. 1981 to Dec. 1993. Other IAF units to operate the type were No. 220 Sqn. "Desert Tigers", No. 31 Sqn. "Lions" and No. 221 Sqn. "Valiants", the last unit to phase out their BNs on 06 Mar 2009. BNs were flown in Op Safed Sagar to attack Pakistani positions during the 1999 Kargil War.
