Alpha Scramble by a F-15C of the 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wolfhounds". The cold-war scrambles were quite regular these days. The Eagles were fully armed with four AIM-7 Sparrows underneath the fuselage and four AIM-9 Sidewinders underneath the wings. This Eagle was delivered to the USAF on 23 March 1983 and served the 32nd TFS up to 14 April 1992. It departed for Tyndall AFB (FL) and was assigned to the 95th FS. The F-15C was stored at AMARG on 3 September 2010 with inventory code AAFH0311.

Negative from FNG archive. 448 C-124 of all models were delivered from 1950 and the last example was not phased out until 1974. 20958 was taken on charge in 1952 and retired to MASDC 1969. Berlin policeman attending the first international Music and Sports Show at Nuremberg were flown in by the Globemaster II which almost dwarfed the airport buildings while Austrian motorcycle police formed a guard of honour.

Delivered to the USAF on 15 Feb'86, the then brand-new Eagle was assigned to the 6512th Test Squadron at Edwards for various kind of tests. It was only moved from squadron in 2007 when it was transferred to the 445th Flight Test Squadron at Eglin AFB (FL) where it served up to 2015. It was then assigned for first operational squadron duty with the 493rd Fighter Squadron at RAF Lakenheath (UK). After that base retired their F-15C/Ds, it was moved to the Oregon ANG where it served the 114th Fighter Squadron. In an accident, the Eagle departed the runway on 15 May 2023 and was written off.
