It was declared off-limits by the mid 1970s amid greatly increased airport security. Taken from then new international terminal. The cluster of hangars in background was best spot for aviation photographers into the 1970s. Accessible and no fences. It was declared off-limits by the mid 1970s amid greatly increased airport security. But then the area had lost its appeal as less traffic passed when the east-west runway ceased to be the main runway.
