Arrived at AMARC, after its last assignment with the 182nd Tactical Fighter Squadron/149th Tactical Fighter Group at Kelly AFB (TX), on 1 May 1979. It received inventory code FE517. After a long storage period at AMARC, the Super Sabre was selected for the QF-100F drone program. It left AMARC on 12 September 1989, a month after this picture was made. It was then flown to Tracor Flight Systems Inc., Mojave (CA) and converted to QF-100F (396). So basicly, at AMARC is was not yet a QF-100F. It was later assigned to 475th WEG. It was written off on 23 October 1990.
