This is the aircraft in which John Alcock and Arthur Whitten Brown made the first non-stop crossing of the Atlantic on 14-15 June 1919. Rebuilt by Vickers at Brooklands it was presented to the Science Museum in 1919 and has been displayed at South Kensington since.
