Jim Hill, owner of Fort Lauderdale based South Florida Aircraft cornered the market in the US for used Beagle 206s in the 1980s and there were at least six present with them on this visit. Sadly the type was popular with narcotic traffickers and several were subsequently lost to that cause. N477EC later went to an owner in Massachusetts and flew until 2016 when in made a gear up landing at Turner Falls Airport, Montague. The registration was cancelled in 2018.
