The company was notable for banning smoking long before Federal regulations, but was never profitable and by mid-1987 operations were ceased. Imagine my surprise when I saw a 747SP take off in the distance, and my joy when it came in to land after just a short flight. It is owned by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, and carries their colours.
