Preserved outside the Polish Air Force Buildings in the town, serial 10 is a fake mark, the real former serial is 8

The FC-code indicates this aircraft was operated by the Command Squadron of 25 Bomber Air Regiment.

Built for the Chinese Air Force in 1953 with serial 11264. c/n also given as 54120 (export number) and painted on as that. Opb 5th Division; in natural metal c/s. Preserved without serial in the China Aviation Museum at Shahezhen AFB from Oct 93 to May 09. First noted 20sep10 preserved with fake serial 10290. (would mean opb 1st Division).

Fortunately or unfortunately, the Szolnok museum has relocated to a new site in the city that does not have space for any of the larger exhibits and so these beautiful old aircraft have been left behind. I really hope that the remaining aircraft can be rescued/relocated because it will be so tragic if they are scrapped.
