The world's first EASA-certified electric aircraft is designed for pilot training. It features a 60 KW electric motor and a state-of-the-art cockpit. Inside and out, it operates incredibly quietly. The Velis is good in the air and maneuverable. It is used in summer and winter. The Velis is great fun for training, charter and sightseeing! Operated by Pitch Power Elektro Flugschule.

Visiting Eelde for the 75th anniversary of the KLM Flight Academy. During the presentations, KLM announced its aim to become CO2 neutral in the future and that is has taken an option on 14 electric aircraft from Bye Aerospace, 6 2-seater eFlyer 2's and 8 4-seater eFlyer 4's. To prepare for this, the academy has started a partnership with E-Flight to gradually let the students experience electric flying.

Doing the rounds at several airports in the country. With more and more organisations getting into electric flying, the NLR will use the aircraft to do research.
