This immaculate aircraft was in the hands of the same owner for 30 years until sold a couple of years ago. It's currently Moorabbin-based and preserved pretty much exactly as it was when it was built in 1966. Originally registered N1467F, it probably never wore that rego as it was registered in Australia on 27 October 1966. Seen here departing after the Houdini-Centenary Air Show.

One of two farm aircraft at Langwell, south of Broken Hill, this 1967 C172 was initially registered N2611L. It was probably just a "trade plate" as the aircraft was re-registered in Australia on 25 August that year. Currently in storage, engineless, on the farm.
