Making its first appearance at an Irish air show and linking up with three Irish Air Corps PC-9s for a single formation flypast. This was in tribute to singer Sinéad O'Connor, who had died some days earlier and who lived in Bray for much of her life.

Built at Victory Aircraft, Malton in July 1945 as a Lancaster Mk10 and later converted to a Mk10MR, operating with 107 Rescue Unit based at Torbay, Newfoundland. Retired in 1963 and displayed at Goderich, Ontario for many years before being restored to flying condition. Currently flies as C-GVRA/KB726 with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum

Postwar, KB839 was one of three 408 Sqn. Lancaster's fitted with an extended nose to carry high altitude cameras used for photo mapping northern Canada. Preserved in 1964, KB839 recently received a wartime nose and was painted as 405 Sqn's JB226, LQ-G, "Gutless Gert" which was shot down on its 61st mission on Nov. 17/18, 1943 en route to Ludwigshaven. Greenwood is home for 405 Sqn.

Rear fuselage section. Shot down over Belgium and crashed at Bas-Oha, to the West of Huy on the night of 12/13th August 1944. All seven crew were killed. The rear fuselage section was kept by a local farmer and eventually moved to a Dutch museum. It arrived at the museum in 2014.

Built by Austin Motors in Birmingham in 1945 as a Mk. VII (FE standard). Issued to 38 MU, then sold in April 1952 to French Aéronautique Navale. Delivered June 1952 as WU-16, Flottille 24F, 25F, Escadrille 9S. Used until 1962. Donated to RAAF Association, Perth in 1962. Initially displayed outdoors before restoration to resemble a B Mk 1 wearing the livery of LL847, J-OD which was shot down, 18 December 1944.

Ex French Navy WU-15, RAF NX611. Gate guard at RAF Scampton from 1977 until 1987. Now preserved by Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby, under restoration to flying condition.

Built in Canada by Victory Aircraft Ltd., ex RCAF KB889. Now displayed (attached to the rest of the airframe) at the museum in 428 Squadron RCAF markings. Registered as G-LANC on 31 January 1985 with the intention of restoration to airworthy condition, and cancelled by the CAA on 2 September 1991.

Pattern aircraft for Canadian Lancaster production, just flown across the Atlantic from Britain by Clyde Pangborn. R5727 was later converted for transport duties and registered as CF-CMS. Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (although according to the RAF web site, PA474 didn't join the BoBMF until November 1973). This photograph shows it before the mid-upper turret, found in Argentina, was fitted in 1975.

Victory Aircraft manufactured 430 Lancaster Xs at their Malton, ON plant, FM136 emerging in 1945. Sent to 32 MU St Athan in May 1945, it was too late to be issued to an active squadron and returned to the Pearce, AB depot in Canada. Eventually converted to Maritime Reconnaissance configuration, it was flown by 404 'Buffalo' (Maritime Patrol) Sqdn at Greenwood, Nova Scotia and later 407 'Demon' (MP) Squadron at Comox, BC carrying squadron markings RX-136 until struck off in April 1961. FM136 spent the next 30 years displayed on a pedestal at Calgary airport before joining the museum in 1992.
