From VF-41 and based at this time aboard aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt. Seen here fitted with live weapons at the end of 1st Gulf War. This Tomcat was lost on May 22sd, 1995 in Mediterranean see after takeoff from USS Theodore Roosevelt. Crew safely recovered.

Taken from a Transall C-160 NG. This aircraft was wearing at this time the Fighter Squadron "Vendée" markings (EC 01-005). Written off during a tragic accident which occured on 10th of March 2003, in Reims- Champagne during a mid air collision with another Mirage F1B. The two Mirage F1 were part of "Votige Victor" team. Unfortunately both pilots lost their lives.
