All three are seen here on their way to foreign military end-users under the Mutual Assistance Program (MAP). 55-3022 and 55-3024 behind. At Ramstein, West Germany all three were struck off USAF inventory 21 March 1972. The Turkish flag was then applied to the tail of all three aircraft and the U.S. AIR FORCE titles were buffed out. They subsequently left (date and markings not known), not to Turkey but to Ethiopia where they became 218, 219 and 220 (no tie-ups known).
