The 93rd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Makos" is part of the US Air Force Reserve Command's 482d Fighter Wing at Homestead Air Reserve Base (FL). Since October 1978, the squadron was equipped with F-4 Phantom, initially the F-4C (up to 1983), and then the F-4D (up to November 1989). It then started to fly the Fighting Falcon. This 6692 was flown over to Davis Monthan in July 1989 (inventory code AA FP0279) and eventually scrapped by February 2012. In the back ground 66-873/FM is seen, that aircraft was also scrapped by February 2012.
