This Training Squadron (VT) 26 'Flying Tigers' was pictured in front of one of the maintenance hangars of homebase Chase Field. The Buckeye flew after its training career with the Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) from Pax River (MD) and later for the US NAvy Test Pilot School before it was moved to AMARC with inventory code AN2T0293 on 20 June 2006. It was stricken from the US Navy inventory on 29 November 2006, and moved to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) on 10 May 2023. Then it was scrapped.

How many aircraft can you count? I struggle even with the original file! The foremost Buckeye served with the USNTPS based at NAS Patuxent River (note the 'US Naval Test Pilot School' titles) and arrived at AMARG during June 06.
