A rare military type in Europe were the Greek YS-11s. The Greek used this white one as a VIP aircraft and was known as SX-BBI before it became 2143. The YS-11 was assigned to 356 MTM. It was last seen as stored at Elefsis in mid 2014.

The aircraft was used to calibrate navigation aids and was wearing the white/orange color scheme

This Hound was donated for preservation in 1986 by Research Institute 030 and was one of the very last airworthy Mi-4s in Czechoslovakia. It recently underwent a two year refurbishment and is now back on display in the main hangar at the Letecké Muzeum Kbely.

The Hellenic Air Force used this YS-11 to calibrate navigation aids.

Olympic received 10 YS-11s in 1970/71 for inter-island and regional work. Six of them were transferred to the Hellenic AF for transport duties in 1981, all being camouflaged except this one (ex SX-BBI) which was used as a calibrator aircraft. Although the others have long since been withdrawn, 2143 is still active with the 356 MTM based at Elefsis
