This RF-4E made its first flight as 69-7493 on 28 April 1971. It was delivered to the Luftwaffe as 35+46 on 13 July 1971. It served AG51 up to April 1991. The recce Phantom was sold to Greece for spare recovery in July 1992 and flown over the Larissa later that year. The RF-4E became 7493 in Greek invenory but possibly never flew again. It is seen here outside its shelter when the Greek Air Force still had to decide what to to with the airframe. It was eventually slowly dismantled later on.
