Venezuela received 24 T-2D Buckeyes in two batches of twelve, the first being delivered in 1973 and the second in 1977. 4380 was part of the second batch. Initially operated by the FAV Training school at Mariscal Sucre and later the Combat Training School at Barquisimeto and Barcelona before their retirement in 1999. Following retirement, several including 4380, were stored at El Libertador.
