The aircraft was later civilianised as N49548 and in 1984 was flown to Le Bourget for Guppy conversion by UTA. This was not proceeded with and it was loaned to the Musee de l'Air but they passed it on to Nancy-Essey for the local air museum, but when this went bankrupt the aircraft was broken up in January 2005. However the tail section was saved and is now exhibited at Plzen-Zruc airpark in the Czech Republic.
