Photographed at US Coast Guard Air Station Miami. This aircraft was originally delivered to the USAF as SA-16A 51-7249 in November 1953, and transferred to the USCG as 7249 in 1960. On retirement in 1978 it was donated to Smithsonian Institution who registered it as N1043N. It was sold to Resorts International Inc/Chalks International Airline as N249S in 1980 and converted as a G-111. Later re-registered N121FB, it had a number of subsequent owners and is shown as current as such on the USCAR with an Oregon owner.
