At the time operated by the Task Force component of the Armed Forces of Malta. In company with 9H-AAF, 9H-AAH and Jet Ranger 9H-AAJ.

Former Luftwaffe AS377, LA106 and 7420, this Bell was transported by a Luftwaffe C-160 to Malta on 29 May 1972 and registered 9H-AAG a few months later. It served the Armed Forces of Malta, Air Squadron and 2nd Regiment until April 1997. The registration was cancelled from the Maltese register on 20 November 1997. It was shipped off in a container for the Aviation Academy in the University of UAE and became an ground instructional airframe at the Dubai Aviation Academy with the fictitious registration A6-BEL; Of note, the construction plate reports it as a AB47J, not AB47G-2 (February 2018).

Lifting off from its St Patrick's Barracks base. At the time the aviation unit of the Armed Forces of Malta was known as the Helicopter Flight.

Leading 9H-AAE, 9H-AAF and Jet Ranger 9H-AAJ on the inauguration of the lengthened runway 14/32. Together with Bell 47G-2 9H-AAH these helicopters at the time formed the Helicopter Flight of the Armed Forces of Malta.

Later became AS7203 under the Armed Forces of Malta's serial system.

Ex-German AF 74+20. Operated by the Helicopter Flight of the Armed Forces of Malta. The Flight received its first equipment in the form of four Bell 47G-2s from Germany in May 1972 and had just started operations.
