Possibly at RAAF Benalla. In 1944 this aircraft was converted to an ambulance. The pilot flew the aircraft from the front seat in an enclosed cockpit. The stretcher was mounted on top of the fuselage frame and covered by a fairing. It operated postwar with this configuration as VH-BIW. It was later restored to a standard two-seat DH82.
