Photo taken at the nuclear test site for Operation Totem. The UK exploded two bombs on towers at the site in 1953. Several RAAF Mustangs were flown in and parked at various positions in the test area. The damage on the tail of A68-97 due to passing vehicles, not the blasts. Recovered and exported to the US in 1968 for use as spares by Cavalier Aircraft..
