Sadly, just 18 days later, (on 18th June 1996), on its way to an appearance at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, the aircraft landed at Enstone Airfield in Oxfordshire, but crashed on departure and was written off. Some remnants of the aircraft can still be found lingering on at Enstone.

Once well known as Instone's G-BISU, this Biffo went to Trans Provincial of Canada in 12.88. Seen here still in TPA's colours soon after ferry from Canada on acquisition by John Duncan, a BA Captain. Originally an RNZAF aeroplane, she made a further appearance over Heathrow as part of the airport's 50th anniversary in 1996 but only weeks later on 18.7.96 was sadly was written off during take-off at Enstone in Oxfordshire
