Acting as a bird dog spotter aircraft for a bombing group of Fire Bosses deployed at Lac La Biche Fire Attack Base.

Imported new in 1999 for Sunwest Home of Calgary. Exported as N36SJ in 2004, then N74KA in 2005. Exported as 9N-AJU in 2011 and on 16 May 2018 it crashed into a mountain at the 12,800 foot level near Simikot, Nepal. (Not to be confused with the current Caravan C-FDON in service with Conair.)

Visiting from its Abbotsford (CYXX) base on a training flight and using its fleet number as call-sign "Fireguard (FGD) 126". If you zoom in you can see both pilots are looking over my shoulder at a lad filming them with a camcorder. What you can't hear is they were hitting the claxon button to say hello. The claxon is normally used when on standby to call all pilots to scramble for a wildfire.
