Moored at the Green Airways dock, and beginning to show the signs of thirty five years service with the operator. Sold to Vancouver Island Air in 1997, and retired as their last Beech 18 in 2015.

The wind direction that morning favoured a backtrack from the Vancouver Island Air dock further into the inner harbour and a take off run from there. Seen well airborne and turning onto the line of the Campbell River to depart out over the Strait.

Delivered to the RCAF in 1952 as serial 2318 then civilianized in 1965 as above. It had floats installed by Green Airways in 1970 and it stayed that way through ownership changes including sale by Vancouver Island Air when it was ferried across the N. Atlantic to Belgium for display at a recreational park. Registered as N18XW to a US trustee in 2016.

In 2015 this Expeditor was sold by Vancouver Island Air and in June/July 2015 it was ferried on floats from Campbell River to the Pairi Daiza Gardens & Zoo theme park near the town of Brugelette, Belgium. Its flying days are over. It is the end of an era now as it is the last of the several Beech 18's that once operated at Campbell River. It was replaced with a turbine DHC-3 Otter.
