Air Toronto was an operating division of Soundair Corporation of which operated trans border flights between Toronto (YYZ) and 10 cities in the US between 1989 and 1991. The airline was originally known as Commuter Express but became Air Toronto after signing a codesharing agreement with AC in 1988 and adding Jetstream 31 and later JetStream 32s. Air Canada bought Air Toronto but the sale collapsed when Soundair went bankrupt in 1991. Canadian Airlines/Ontario Express then bought the routes the airline ceased flying by Oct. 1991. Pictured are C-GORB, C-FTAR, C-GBDR and C-GDBR.
