we were lucky enough to see those beasts operating into ZRH on a regular basis - flying for Air India Cargo (until they got a replacement in form of an Southern DC-8-73CF)

This Il-76 was originally delivered to the Tyumen directorate of Aerflot in April 1983 but transferred to the International directorate in June 1988 and is pictured taxying out from cargo to rw34 for departure home. As RA-76964, it was retired from the Aeroflot fleet in November 2003 and scrapped at Sheremetyevo (SVO).
