This Grumman G-73 Mallard, CF-HPU (msn J-9) was operated by 20th Century Fox Film Corporation in California in 1948-1954. To Pacific Western Airlines (PWA) as CF-HPU and named Kitimat Princess while supporting construction of a aluminum smelter on the northern BC coast. To BC Air Lines (BCAL) 1959-1973; back to PWA when it bought BCAL. Sold to West Coast Air Service in Dec. 1973. Exported to USA in January 1975. To Chalks Int'l Miami in Jun 1975. Converted by Frakes Aviation to a G-73T in 1984. Sold to Virgin Island Seaplane Shuttle as N609SS. To Caribbean Airline Services 1990. Wrecked 1994.
