ABR582 from Hannover

Used for the East Midlands-Cologne-Katowice schedule. The company still uses ICAO designator ABR from the days of Air Bridge Carriers, with callsign 'Contract' from when it was named Air Contractors. ASL stands for Airlines, Support and Leasing; it is not a connection to Air Service Liege and its derivatives.

This 734 was originally leased to Jet Airways in September 1997 as VT-JAM but went relatively quickly to Saga Airlines as TC-SGD with sub-leases to Sky Airlinees, Air Algerie, Anadolou Airlines and AtlasJet before returning to the lessor in September 2010. A period with Yamal Airlines followed as VQ-BII from February 2011 until July 2017 and was then converted to a freighter in July 2019. Two months later it joined ASL ireland and is pictured here lining up on rw26L about to depart to Milan (MXP).
